First Build

Got this upper on sale for 299 and assembled my first AR today. I didn't have any issues dropping this onto my lower. There is a very slight amount of rust on the gas block but it appears to be surface rust, if it bothers me enough I'll wipe it off with some oil. I did have an issue with the spot the charging handle latches on to. The bottom "half" of that notch the where charging handle latch goes stuck out and was causing the charging handle to be extremely hard to get out of it's locked position. This was pretty easily fixed with some very careful filing, but I still shouldn't have had to do it. I haven't shot it yet but I think it'll go well, the barrel and handguard appear to be of high quality. It looks really good with the pic rails on the bottom and sides and all along the top. Overall I think I got a good deal, but I'm not sure I wouldn't buy something a little nicer if it wasn't on sale.

Good Value for the money

First of all when I ordered this it was on 10% sale, then the following day they lowered the price so I contacted Primary arms and resent me another one to price match the current sale and I shipped back the first order. That being said. I am having the same issue as the stated in his review. The charging handle is stuck and hard to pull. Might have to use a dremel to create a slot. But all and all i love the looks and feel of this upper. And I put it on my ati lower and it fits tight no play whatsoever. Great customer service on primaryarms and negative 1 on radical.
