While 5.56 magazines can accept .300 BLK it's better to have a dedicated magazine for different diameter bullets. With out different magazines the likelihood of an ammunition mishap increases.This steel magazine is designed for the Ruger® AR-556® rifle and pistol in additon to their SR-556 Takedown® rifle chambered in .300 BLK.For ease of identification “300 AAC Blackout” is laser engraved on the side the prevent mis-identifying the magazine.
