The Savage Axis 2 Compact XP 6.5 Creedmoor bolt action rifle is ideal for backcountry hunting and other applications where light weight and precision shooting are required. This bolt action rifle features a 20" barrel with a 1 in 9 rate of twist, an overall length of 39.5", a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, two-position top tang safety, and factory-mounted and sighted 3-9x40mm rifle scope. The lightweight grey synthetic stock of the Axis 2 Compact XP features enhanced, updated texturing, integrated sling swivel studs, and ambidextrous palm swells.
