Loose fit

Very loose fit. No screw, just snaps onto frame. Has quite a bit of play when I wrap my hand around grip. Looks nice but that's about it.
Not close to ready for use.

The button in the back doesn't snap in and the front is not stable at all. You can pull this off without any real force ie. not secure in the magwell at all. They need to go back to the drawing board on this.
Disappointed, Not secure, just like strike 80 magwell, only plastic tab rear lock

Had a few of these frames and used a strike 80 magwell for a build, and while it works it wasnt totally secure on the front end. Knew SCT was in the process of coming out with their own so i waited, it had to be good and have a secure lock up, right?. Nope, Totally shocked when I installed this, it goes right on, snaps into place by a plastic tab in the rear. The front just sits flush against the frame, has nothing to grab onto, just like strike 80. Its not really secure. You can take your pinky and push down on the front of the magwell it will move out easily 3-5 millimeters away from the frame. Doubt you will have any problems when you run this magwell, but the possibility exists. It looks good, lil over priced for polymer that doesn’t lock up and matches the frame ,but why the sub par front end? Wouldn’t take it as a daily carry or anything where your life is on the line as a snag or malfunction is possible. Disappointing and will pass on future purchases. Love the frames.

For the money this is an ok magwell. Fitment is perfect of course it comes from SCT. I would like to see them manufacture an aluminum one with a screw to secure it. First attempt yeah good job.
