Perfectly priced RDS for a G43X MOS
by Yukon-5-8
I bought this to replace a Crimson Trace RAD Micro that refused to hold a zero. The CT RAD Micro has many of the same features as the Shield RMSc, except that the RMSc view window is larger, so the red dot pops up quicker. The polished quartz coated polymer lens is clearer than I imagined it'd be. The auto on/off is nice and the auto dimming/brightening red dot is adequate even under dark or bright applications respectively. I can understand some users might not like this feature and want to self-adjust to their preference.
It fits my G43X MOS perfectly without a plate, sits lower and co-witnesses better than the CT RAD Micro with stock sights. To my shock, the RMSc zeroed right out of the box. I shot it today (without first zeroing it) for qualification and scored a 300, only dropping my first shot out of the X-ring.
Do I like it? Hell Yeah!
Would I recommend it? Yes, but only if you're okay with the auto dimming/brightening feature.
Every bit the value

high-quality shooting aid all things considered; fit precisely as advertised on my G43x MOS using the included short screws; co-witnessed with my Ameriglo sights out of the box; the Shield's auto adjusting brightness does not conflict with the Ameriglo front sight day or night; admittedly this configuration is a bit redundant, but while I took a year and a half to decide on the RMS-c its great to know I don't have to trade the comforting glow of irradiated hydrogen for a red laser - I can have both
RMSc reflex sight

Carried this sight on my Hellcat for two years before realizing the batteries are suppose to last longer than 2-3 months.
Filled out RMA form and sending back today. Hopefully it can be repaired. Otherwise will just install tritium night sights and be done.
RMSc is Awesome

I have been watching this item for a long time, like the profile, clear glass is a nice touch, it came with some blemishes in 3 of the 4 corners of the glass, but PA reached out to Shield and we are waiting on their response as to whether that is normal, haven't shot with it yet, wanted to wait on response from Shield first, but no regrets with this purchase.
MY PREFERRED REFLEX OVER ALL OTHERS
by Horn
Shield (UK) made sights for the military and special OPs for thirty years before offering sights commercially about three years back. These are designed for pistols... not like others one size fits all. The RMSc is for single stack and the RMS is for double stack pistols. No suppressor iron sights required. I have two but prefer the MOA 8 for SD purpose.
No Off or On buttons, No + or - buttons. No Buttons! Just two tiny ports for zeroing in at your preferred distance. Great support services. They advised me to zero at 17 meters for distance and SD shots.
Well, I prefer shorter .... about 35 feet.
Will buy again for a new pistol.
