Now here we go...

For 54r this sight does not fully seat. Atleast in a vepr, I have not tried it in a mosin, but I would imagine it has the same effect. I gove it three stars because even though it does not seat perfectly to get true zero. It does get you pretty damn close though so it works close enough. I mean within 5" of center. For reference, rifle is a 20" vepr in 54r, with 1-6x24ACSS optic. Shoots 1.5" at 100yards with 180gr serbian sniper ammo. This sight did well to get me on paper. Further sighting in is required for this caliber. I hope this helps.
A MUST HAVE ITEM

I have purchased this same bore-sight previously, but forgot to pack it during my move. It is well made and simple to use. The only minor issue is, the batteries must be removed after sighting.

Easy to use , and allows quick sight in. Works well, and saves hard to get ammo. Shipping was fast ! Primary Arms is the best. Satisfied customer.
so cruced it hits the riflings

This laser bore site is off my 10 inch at 100ft. It hits the riflings inside the barrel. I put the laser on a flat surface and rolled it to find the high side and mark it. By rotating the laser 180 deg and marking the target i was able to see how far off it is. 10 inch off at 100ft is kinda junk.
