no ring, no flash, fits a ton of suppressors. comes w/a hole to pin and weld if you're under 16" too. Nice.
Oh, and stickers.
Not good for flash suppression
by William -
Used one on a 13.7 inch barrel to pin and weld to make a 16 inch barrel, and theres good and bad to report. The good.... No ring and very good muzzle control. The bad... Terrible flash suppression. When shooting in the dark, you'll see a ton of flash out of the 6 compensator holes located at 12 and 3 O'clock. It's pretty ridiculous actually. It has me hesitant to permanently attach it to my barrel. Maybe it works better on a 14.5 or a 16 inch barrel, but, again , the whole point for me was a 13.7" to 16" pin and weld. I love SOLGW, and have 4 of their BCGs, and 1 of their handguards, but I'm annoyed that they call this a flash hider. I might try a NOX9 before I have the pin and weld done, but I'd imagine I'd have similar results. I really wish they'd make one without the comp holes, as a designated flash hider/ suppressor host. That would be rad.
