great shooter

by -

I bought this planning to replace another barrel I was less happy with but ended up doing a new build with it. The initial shooting impression was very good and accurate. I have it with a Burris thermal scope, and initial break in with soft nose hunting ammo is giving me 1.5" or less groups at 100 yards...with the vaguery of the thermal scope using a hand warmer as a target. It is accurate enough that I can only imagine what match ammo and a traditional glass optic would yield. Getting it as quick as Primary Arms sent it, at a price that is damn good along with SLGW warranty (and I suspect the actual manufacturer is a very well known barrel brand that makes great barrels) is an amazing combination.
