Using “Select” Electronic components and combining them with smart programming S & S Precision has yet again, designed this helmet light for highest output and extended battery life.
Features:
Included with the Manta Strobe™ is a webbing adapter for web-over helmets and has a curved base which fits almost all shapes of helmets. Possessing the lightest weight and lowest profile in its class, the Manta Strobe™ outperforms all the others weighing in a mere 2.12 ounces and that’s with the battery.
IPX = Manufacture rated, the Manta Strobe™ is waterproof at 150 feet, and has 0 as in ZERO water penetration in the main housing or partitioned battery compartment. The primary Overt LED/s are visible beyond 3 statue miles which addresses necessary FAA visibility requirements and the battery change out is a breeze and doesn’t require a special tool to change the 3V CR-123.
All in all, this little light sure does shine, and in a big way.

Didn't think I needed one.

I wasn't sure if I really needed this since I'm not an "Operator", but I like going to training, so figured I would get one. Glad I did, and glad I picked this product. Just finished a NVG course and it seems most of the guys in the class prefer these due to their ease of use, and reliable construction and operation. I would recommend.
