The SureFire MB556K is a dedicated muzzle brake and suppressor adapter designed for rifles chambered in 5.56mm/.223 with Mil-Spec 1/2x28 muzzle threads, including platforms like the Colt Commando, M4, M16, and HK 416. Built to significantly cut recoil and reduce the typical up-and-right muzzle rise, the MB556K helps shooters stay on target for faster follow-up shots. Its patented Impulse Diffusion design also minimizes side blast and reduces rear-directed concussion for a more controllable shooting experience.

Machined from heat-treated stainless steel and coated for maximum corrosion resistance, this brake is designed to deliver long-term reliability across thousands of rounds. In addition to recoil control, it functions as a Fast-Attach mount for SureFire FA556K, FA556-212, FA556MG, MINI, and MICRO suppressors. Proper fit requires a barrel length of 14.5" or longer and at least 0.170" of unobstructed barrel behind the threads, with a maximum barrel diameter of 0.800" in that area.
