Surefire Switch Module for MU Weapon Light - Includes ST07 Tape Switch

While most Surefire lighting systems can operate in a standalone battery-driven environment, the placement of the system may not always be advantageous to you. For example, you may need the switch capability closer to you in some mission configurations, but that means moving the light itself.  Additionally, there is little room on the weapon's rail system when you wish to use a reliable switch module.  The answer is using an MU Weaponlight system and Switch Module from Surefire.

The XMO7 Surefire Switch Module is a waterproof switch assembly for Surefire's MU and CU Weaponlight systems and will function regardless of the weather or wet terrain conditions. Additionally, Surefire includes a system disable feature to prevent accidental activation and a click-on/off pushbutton switch.  Also included is a plug-in momentary-on remote tape switch for emergency activation only when necessary.

Both pushbutton and pressure-activated tape switches operate independently, giving you redundant use. When choosing your switch module, the two digits after the XM represent the length of the cable in inches.  For example, the XM07 cable length is seven inches and works with most rifle or carbine applications.  When space on your rifle's rail is at a premium or the reach to your weapon light is awkward and inconvenient, the best option is the Surefire Switch Module coupled with a Surefire Millennium Universal weapon light.
