Ambidextrous safety selectors make manipulating your rifle fast and easy in nearly any position. Being able to change your rifle's condition from 'safe' to 'fire' with your thumb and from 'fire' to 'safe' with your index finger is faster and more convenient. Being able to make that change with just 45-degrees of motion is one of the best upgrades available for your carbine. Of course, the AMBI SS can also be configured for traditional 90-degrees of throw as well.

Dangerous product

I wish I could include a picture to show just how poorly manufactured this product is compared to my origional no name selector switch. Since I cant, all I will say is that not only is this product poorly made, but it does not function as it should due to bad fitment. Thank God I did a functions check before actually using this product in the field. The safety position was engaged yet I was still able to release the hammer multiple times. Upon further investigation I found multiple areas of this part that are simply wrong and certain edges that should be beveled for proper fitment are not. This product will get someone killed and I am disgusted that products like this are sold to people who may not notice the problems with it until it's too late. Disgraceful.

The offhand paddle is so tiny it is nearly hidden by the selector stop of the receiver. The main reason I stopped by was to see if they sold just the paddle. If not I'll have to replace the entire unit as it's largely unusable as is.
Feel pretty darn safe

Fit and finish match pefectly. Im sure you might not like it if you dont install it properly, as ive seen from a previous review. I wish i could submit a picture to show you just how bad$&@ it really is. Great craftsmanship in my opinion. I bought the matching extended mag realease and they look killer side by side. 0 regrets here...
It works on my rife

I put this on my palmetto state lower and it works fine and doesn't get in the way of my grip with one side being smaller than the other.
