A Great Finishing Touch
by Jack -
This dust cover is great. I looks and fits perfect. For the money it is a way better value than the V-Seven offering and unlike strike industries it is made in the USA. Can’t wait to buy more as well as try other Timber Creek parts
Poor fitment
by Jonathan -
Looks good but did not fit on my upper correctly. Would not close all the way and could easily be opened with just my finger. Also the rod it comes with is a great touch but only if you have your handguard off of the barrel. It has a notch on it that can only allow it to be installed starting from the right side and going towards the left side. Not good if you planned on installing with the handguard already on and didn’t have a spare kit to use for the dust cover. Overall not a bad product. Just didn’t fit right for me. No issues with PA! Always stellar customer service. Plan to return it soon!
Nice finishing touch for not a lot of cash!

I received this as a Christmas gift to go with an Aero slickside upper. My wife knows PA is my go-to vendor so I assume she bought it here? I read a bunch of negative reviews on these & wondered what they were all about? So before winding the spring, I installed it on the rod. Snapped shut perfectly. Installed the spring & now it will no longer close? I take a look at the back see the short end of the spring is getting squeezed between the receiver & the dust cover. I simply bent a 90° angle into the short end of the spring, just low enough that it doesn't get squeezed between the receiver & the cover and it's perfect. Timber Creek should remedy this, but it took me 10 seconds to diagnose & remedy the issue. I have a hard time deducting points when the issue was a non-issue. Don't let a spring outsmart you & if you do, don't tell the world about it!
