The Vortex SPARC AR micro red dot sight is a popular option for many shooters thanks to it's rugged design and convenient use of common AAA batteries. The SPARC AR II takes this popular optic and cranks it to the next level by making it even more durable, adding night vision compatibility, and boosting the effective battery life from a respectable 5,000 hours to an impressive 50,000 hours! The ergonomic and ambidextrous top-mounted push button controls make adjusting brightness on the fly quick and easy without the snag risk of a fragile adjustment knob on the side of the optic. To further harden the microdot, the SPARC AR II features shielded windage and elevation adjustment turrets to protect against the bumps and scrapes of real world use. To top it off, the SPARC AR II includes an integrated multi-height mount, allowing shooters to select either an Absolute or Lower 1/3rd cowitness to match their preference.

Great for the price

This was my first vortex and red dot purchase. And I was not disappointed. It holds a zero and very easy to zero. The clicks are nice and sturdy and the lens is clear. I put atleast 1000 rounds through my ar15 and I zeroed it at 100 yards and my groups were about the size of a half dollar. (Indoor range) the only thing I don’t like is that the included caps are attached to the body and don’t really stay out of the way so I removed them. Overall this sight is great for any type of shooter.

Solid optic for the money

At the $200 price point it’s hard to beat. Seems like there’s always a $50 credit as well with purchase. Solid little piece. I’ve bought several for my throw down guns.

I chose this optic because I liked the subdued branding. It’s durable and I like that it takes a AAA battery. I would have preferred some kind of shake awake but it is decent as is. It is nice to know vortex has a great warranty if anything goes wrong.

Good optic. only complaint is she's heeeavy! Luckily I was mounting this on something that could benefit with more mass. I have nearly all PA's optics, a few Vortex and SIG optics, and this one is obviously the heaviest of all. Good optic, great dot clarity unlike some others I have.

Throw a low american defense or midwest mount on her and its practically bullet proof. These dots are excellent for the price. No problems after changing the mount and have turned it on every day for the past year and it's still going.
