The Vortex SPARC SOLAR red dot sight is built to withstand harsh conditions with its single piece aluminum chassis that is compact and lightweight with an anodized finish to protect from wear and corrosion. O-ring seals keep the internals protected from water, dirt, and other debris while the internals themselves have been upgraded to withstand heavy impacts and keep on ticking. It has also been purged to prevent fogging from extreme temperature changes and the lens feature an anti-reflective and scratch resistant coating.
The value of all these features is exceptional and is amplified by all the accessories that are included in the box. The Vortex Optics SPARC SOLAR red dot sight also comes with tethered lens covers, T10 Torx multitool, low and 1/3rd co-witness mount, lens cloth, and a battery. The low mount is a great option for AK-47 style rifles or other rifles with a low stock comb, while the Lower 1/3rd mount is perfect for AR style rifles where the stock is directly in line with the barrel.

So first I will say I “was” a big Holosun customer, but no longer since buying, using and comparing features and WARRANTY! I own 4 Holosun solar both for pistol and rifle. Had a warranty issue and contacted and contacted and contacted Holosun, never a response. Very poor customer service, and frankly I don’t think they really care. Sad because it’s a decent Solar Red Dot. But then I bought the NEW Vortex Sparc SolAR. Optics are great, clarity is excellent, but here’s the BIG difference... Warranty! Holosun if they did honor is 3 yrs, but Vortex has a VIP Lifetime warranty that stays with the scope/Red Dot not buyer. Other noticeable difference is Solar quality Holosun has 50,000 hr, Vortex has 150,000 hr. I broke ( user error) the small sight adjustment tool, I contacted Vortex to buy replacement, but they do NOT sell, they had one in the mail to me in 24hrs and covered under warranty. If your deciding to buy a Red Dot, this one is a great choice.

Put this on a CMMG Banshee 45 acp. Did not take long to zero. I have two Aimpoints, do I think this is a bombproof as those, no. However, so far, I am very pleased with this optic. The optic feels solid. I did change the mount but overall I am very pleased with the purchase. PA shipped fast as usual.
Dead after first use

The buttons stopped responding after the first use. It worked the first time while shooting outdoors, then stopped responding the next I tried turning it back on, which was only days later. PrimaryArms did me right and processed my refund. I love PrimaryArms, they always take care of their customers. Not sure what is going on with Vortex but this isn't the first time I heard the buttons not responding on these new Sparc Solars. Very unfortunate because I love their products and this won't change that. Hopefully they come out with a Gen2 and upgrade the buttons.
<br>We are sorry to hear that you had those issues with that Sparc. Per our conversation please let us know if there is anything else we may help you with.

Hey y’all.. I’m gonna say that primary arms is probably on the top of websites to purchase from. I just wish you guys bring back free shipping to your local customers! And as far as the sparc solar is concerned, I’ve had an issue with the dot looking funny and not as sharp, I contacted vortex and let them know of the issue.. They sent me a shipping label and examined my optic, they said there was something wrong with the dot that causes it to look not round, idk the technical term but they did send me a new one. This one is becoming my favorite red dot as it has solar power and all the good specs that y’all already know. One thing I should point out though, I wish it was .5 MOA adjustment at 100 yards/meters!
