The Weatherby Mark V Live Wild .25-06 Bolt Action Rifle is a special edition firearm designed in partnership with experienced hunter Remi Warren. This collaboration leverages Remi’s extensive hunting expertise to create a rifle perfect for a wide range of hunting adventures. Built on the historic Mark V® action, this rifle prioritizes accuracy and dependability.

Starting at just 5.8 lbs, the Live Wild rifle is lightweight, making it ideal for backcountry treks. It boasts an adjustable TriggerTech trigger, spiral fluted barrel and bolt, skeletonized bolt knob, radial Accubrake ST, and a hand-painted stock. The polymer stock features the same trim, flat-bottomed forend, ambidextrous palm swells, and aluminum pillar construction as the Mark V Backcountry™ 2.0 rifles. The stock is finished with a unique sponge pattern inspired by Remi Warren’s Live Wild brand.

The spiral fluted barrel, threaded 1/2×28 for use with a suppressor, includes a recoil-reducing Accubrake ST. The barreled action is protected by a Carbon Grey Cerakote® shell, shielding it from the elements. The deeply fluted bolt reduces weight and the bearing surface within the action, resulting in smoother operation. The externally adjustable TriggerTech trigger offers a trigger pull range from 2.5 lbs to 5 lbs. A custom hinged floorplate features the Live Wild logo, symbolizing the inspiration and effort behind this special edition.

The Mark V action is renowned for its strength and features a multi-lug bolt system. The standard action employs a six-lug design, while the magnum action uses nine locking lugs, enabling these actions to safely chamber the hottest commercially-available cartridges. Additional safety features include a fully-enclosed bolt shroud and three gas relief ports in the bolt body to vent pressure in case of ammunition failure. The Mark V action also boasts a 54-degree bolt throw, the shortest throw in the industry, ensuring smooth and fast cycling.
