This 6x Magnifier is part of the mid-tier optics line called GLx. GLx brings premium technology and materials into an approachable price range.

The Primary Arms GLx 6x Magnifier brings the reach and the precision of a low power variable optic to your MD25 G2 red dot. With exceptional glass clarity and a large 2.5 inches of eye relief packed into a lightweight aluminum body weighing in at only 7.2 ounces and a length of 3.9 inches, this 6x red dot magnifier will greatly improve your range capabilities without getting in the way. A flip to side mount is included in the box saving you the headache of buying a compatible mount separately and gives you the flexibility to quickly switch between 1x for CQB and 6x for longer ranges. Additionally, the 6x magnifier is compatible with the vast majority of 2-screw style magnifier mounts if you are running a higher red dot mount. Primary Arms also offers a mount riser (sold separately) for the included FTSM mount to bring the optical centerline of the magnifier up to 1.93". If you are wanting the flexibility of an LPVO but don't want to get rid of your favorite red dot sight, then you can't go wrong adding the PA 6x Magnifier to your setup.

Note: When using a magnifier with a prism sight, you must adjust the diopters on both the sight as well as the magnifier until you get a clear reticle.

Not recommended for use with SLx MD-25 ACSS variant.

No ACCS

I have no idea why PA didn't include ACSS reticle for this magnifier!

Very Nice and Locks Very Tight!

I'm initially very impressed. Fits right over my BUIS and it folds out of the way should I ever need to diploy my backup sights. If your sights are straight, then align your dot with your sights, and then align your new 6x flip centered with your dot. The eye relief is decent and comparable to most flip-ups, but the quality seems really good and the price is fabulous. Even if I spent $150 more on this flip-up, I'd still be happy with its quality!

Rock solid addition.

Buy it.

Not good with MicroPrism or ACSS red dot

by -

I bought this hoping it would be similar to the full sized 3X magnifier. That it would setup with the 1X microprism nicely. It does not. The magnifier glass is very clear and bright but I didn't buy to be a monocular. The adjusting to get a semi clear view and reticle is near impossible. I have it close but for the money I expected it to be better. I have the full size 3X and adjustments for the micro prism the 3x get a pretty clear picture. The ACSS MD25 isn't much better. At higher than medium brightness the light just floods the magnifier. This may be a me problem but there it is. I'll use them until I find someone that can make better use of them and sell them. Kills me because most every other optic I've bought from PA is great.

Excellent value!

Awesome magnifier. Paired mine with an EOTech EXPS 3-4 and it really takes the optic to a new level. Also works great with my Gen II MD-25. I have all my optics on Unity mounts and this works perfect with the Unity Omni FTC mount. I can even fit a Midwest Industries BUIS under it. Definitely meets all the expectations I had for this magnifier!

Bionic Eye

Bought his and her magnifiers to go with eotech 552 and 512. Height is perfect out of the box no shims. Can now see a rabbit at 200 yards clearly. They are sturdy in either flip position. Absolute game changer with the 6X magnification with the best holographic red dot eotech for any distance with our aging eyes. 3x magnification simply was not enough for us, 6X is perfect. Could not be more pleased with these magnifiers. Even with my stigmatism sight is clear and crisp.

Great magnifier. Didn't work with the 1x prism for me.

I purchased this magnifier to run with the PA 1x prism scope. It didn't quite work unfortunately. Having two diopters to adjust I just never could get a sharply focused reticle AND a crystal-clear target. Had to choose one or the other to be in focus. I mounted this with a Sig Romeo 5 red dot and the setup has been perfect. I ended up pairing the 1x Prism with a Sig 3x magnifier and that's been great as well. While I'm bummed the magnifier didn't work well with the 1x prism I'm very happy with the purchase and will continue to use it with my red dot guns. Great job PA.

Excellent 6x

Solid lockup, clear glass, and lightweight considering the 6x power. Eye relief and eye box is a bit tight (like anything at 6x) but the longer optic body also means you don't have to mount it all the way rearward.

Only wish it had a QD mount but that can always be an additional upgrade.

Hope it works for you

Pre ordered this as soon as I was able too. Magnification is great addition for that little extra range your looking for. This is my first magnifier ever, but but when paired with a Slx MD-25 CQB gen 1 it is very blurry. It's possible I have astigmatism and I will find out more on that later(I do wear corrective lens), but I hope this product works for you. Seems like an awesome product for the price outside of vision problems

It was good speaking with you. We are glad to hear the red dot and magnifer became clearer for you after you were able to get new lenses!

Just works

I waited to write this review until after a few range trips and my final consensus is this is an amazing value for the high quality. It feels and looks like solidly constructed. The glass quality is superb with no tint that I could see. Eyebox is a bit more forgiving than my GLX 1-6x LPVO at max magnification. I can't say anything about the mount that comes with it because I bought an Eotech qd switch to side mount that pairs perfectly with it.

It's paired with an Eotech EXPS3-4 and Magpul PRO backup iron sights. The Eotech's reticule look amazing after I adjusted the diopter to my eyes and I was getting some good consistent grouping at 100 yards.

I was also able to use this in some pouring rain and the magnifier held up beautifully without any noticeable fogging. The only thing I'm unsure of so far it how it fares in sub freezing weather. So far this is a winner in my book.
