This Primary Arms red dot sight is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.
The Primary Arms SLx MD-25 Gen 2 Microdot with ACSS CQB reticle now comes with AutoLive, improving the functionality of an already amazing red dot sight. Stretch that already insanely long battery life even further and remove that fear of picking up your rifle and the dot not being there. With this red dot sight, the moment you pick up your rifle, the dot will turn on and be ready precisely when you need it. After sitting motionless for a brief period of time, the red dot will shut off and conserve battery. Still featuring the same lightweight and durable design with a field of view that rivals larger 30mm red dots, the MD-25 Gen 2 is a no-brainer upgrade to add to your collection.
The ACSS CQB reticle features three BDC dots underneath the chevron, allowing an unprecedented 600 yards of bullet drop compensation for 7.62 NATO or 5.56 NATO calibers in a compact red dot sight. Auto ranging and wind leads are also incorporated into this smart reticle. A CQB horseshoe grabs the eye instantly for close quarters shooting and also approximates the spread pattern of 00 buckshot at 25 yards.

Awesome Red Dot
by Shane
This is a very well built and high quality red dot! Very bright and sweet just hard to see the dots so I would definitely recommend the magnifier to go without. Other than that I highly recommend this.
A Solid Optic Worth Your Rail Space
by Kyle -
Cons: ~Stiff illumination dial- this is on par with other Primary Arms optics so it comes as no surprise. This could be frustrating for some but when paired with the AutoAlive feature you really only adjust your illumination before/after transportation or on occasion while in use.
~Glass tint- I’ve noticed a blue tint when looking through the optic. It isn’t enough to upset me but I know this may upset others.
Pros:~The ACCS CQB reticle is a new favorite of mine over the ACCS CQB-M1 or standard dot. It fits the lens well easy to keep on target.
~The reticle is clear and crisp even when viewed through a magnifier- I paired the MD-25 with my Juliet 5 and was shocked at the clarity of the optic vs a similar dot styled optic.
~The optic mount is very sturdy and does not cause a loss of zero when mounted properly. The mount also comes with several risers to varying height depending on user need.
Amazing red dot sight

This is my favorite red dot optic period. And yes, I have a bunch of them.. Ruggged sturdy dials not buttons crazy battery life holds it’s zero no matter what stupid abuse I put it through. Ridiculous adjustment range, including 3 for if you’re doing nvg ninja type sh*t. And that reticle.Might be the most instinctive, legible reticle I’ve seen this side of whatever that brilliant commie thing is on top of a dragunov. Paired with a fixed fsb this thing is amazing. The only better I’ve seen is nightforce. Oh, and doesn’t weigh really anything. Never ever fogs up and I’ve shot it in just rained 100 degree north cackalackee “how os the bs even possible” to sub 20 degree slimy icy “wtf. I can’t feel my face” and no fogging or frost in either situation or anything in between.
Fantastic value

Picked up one of these from Optics Planet’s July 4th sale (they had stock, PA didn’t).
I’m so pleased with it I had to stop here and leave a review. Reticle is surprisingly sharp despite my mild astigmatism. I find running at brightness level 6 and below gives me best results but ymmv.
Zero’d from a bench at 25 yards and was getting a great little group maybe 1.5 inches across and 1 inch low. Looking forward to getting to a 100 yard range and seeing how much adjustment I’ll need from there.
Glass is perfectly fine for my purposes. I’ll pick up one of the PA 3x magnifiers to go with it and I’m sure it’ll be a great value combo. Color me thoroughly impressed!
Excellent Red Dot

Love this red dot, high quality, love the auto live feature. Exactly what I wanted, works great on my build. Haven’t been to the range yet but will update when it’s fully tested out.
As close to perfect as it gets
by Robert P
I have the non-Autolive version, and that was the only thing I would've changed. I thought they had discontinued the ACSS, in favor of the plain dot. In fact, I was about to buy a pre-owned one off of ebay. Glad to see they are still made. The ACSS is an order of magnitude better than a plain dot. I don't understand the folks that can't see the chevron well. I've had cataract surgery, so my vision is very good now, but not that much better than average person. They know it is parallax-free, so it can be mounted pretty far back on the rail, right? Mine is at the very front of the receiver rail, and it's still perfect to me.
Great Auto ACSS Red Dot
by Kevin -
Been wanting to try one of these and I’m not disappointed. Works as advertised with sleep mode and auto wake up. I would say the auto wake function takes some jiggling to get the dot back on. Got this for the reticle and auto wake function. Would buy another
LENS COVER NOT INCLUDED AND NOT MENTIONED

Sad this did not come with Bikini covers
Optic otherwise is adequate.
Small ACSS reticle compared to the other Primary Arms ACSS reticles I have.
