Ruger American Rifle Generation II .308 Win Bolt Action Rifle - 20" - Gun Metal Gray - 1x 3rd Mag

The Ruger American Gen II brings a redesigned bedding system, an adjustable stock, and a user-tunable trigger to Ruger's popular bolt-action platform. Built for hunters who want a rifle that fits properly out of the box, this rifle pairs Ruger's Power Bedding system with a fully adjustable length of pull.

Features:

• Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, user-adjustable 3-5 lbs
• Patented Power Bedding integral bedding block system
• Three-position tang safety allows loading with the safety engaged
• Spiral fluted barrel reduces weight without sacrificing stiffness
• Adjustable length of pull with removable comb and stock spacers
• Factory-installed, one-piece Picatinny scope base

The splatter-finished stock is textured for a secure grip without being abrasive, and a soft rubber recoil pad with a large heel radius helps the rifle shoulder easily while progressively collapsing to reduce felt recoil. Removing the installed spacer drops the length of pull from 13.75 inches to 12 inches, and additional spacers and comb options are available separately for a more refined fit. Cerakote coating on the barrel, muzzle brake, receiver, and bolt handle gives the rifle a durable, easy-to-maintain finish, and the one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel with a three-lug design for ample scope clearance. This limited edition version is chambered in .308 Winchester with a 20-inch barrel and an AI-style magazine, finished in Gun Metal Gray Cerakote over a Liberty Blue splatter stock, and features a special "Made in the 250th Year of American Liberty" engraving commemorating America's 250th anniversary.

Ruger has manufactured bolt-action rifles in the USA for decades, and the American Rifle platform reflects the company's latest refinements to that design. Every American Rifle is built to the same standard Ruger applies across its hunting rifle lineup.
