The Faxon Firearms Duty Series Gunner Complete AR-15 Upper Receiver in 5.56 at 11.5" runs mid-length gas instead of the usual carbine-length setup, paired with an adjustable gas block and a Plan B-compatible flash hider, built from the ground up for suppressor use rather than adapted to it.

Running mid-length gas on an 11.5" barrel gives a longer dwell time and a slower, more gradual bolt carrier velocity than the carbine-length gas most 11.5" builds use — the correct starting point once suppressor back pressure enters the equation. The adjustable gas block lets you fine-tune cycling around your specific suppressor, ammunition, and buffer combination, and the Plan B-compatible MuzzLok threads directly to a Plan B or Atlas-mount can without an adapter.

This upper ships as a true complete assembly, not a barreled-only unit, so it's ready to mount and shoot as soon as it's paired with a lower.
