This is a good & reliable product. The description fails to mention if this BCG works with Gen 1 and 2 Grendel barrels but does so very smoothly & reliably -- no issues. This BCG is finely machined with a smooth finish which eliminates any gritty feeling in the upper receiver during cycling. I would recommend this product for any 6.5 Grendel build or BCG swap.

If you want a reasonable price AR build, you can't o wrong with Aero Precision. I started with the bolt. Now I have the whole rifle. And its accurate. You will not be disappointed.
Not Machined Correct

Would not headspace correctly with my barrel. Checked the face of the bolt and it was a couple thousandths too shallow.

The Aero Precision BCG for the 6.5 Grendel Type II is top quality. I have it working with a Faxon Big Gunner barrel. Great set up. I would highly recommend Aero Precision products.
Type II - 6mm ARC

Its Aero Precision so of course its beautiful. Just to let others know, this is a type-II Grendel/ 6mm ARC bcg. It is listed incorrectly on the website as a type I, but Aero Precision only makes one Grendel, and its a type II. I purchased this for my 6mm Arc build and it states 6mm ARC right on the package. I also added the Lantac Enhanced Pin. Just about ready to hit the range. All I can say from a thorough inspection is that this BCG is ready to go.
No Useful markings

Examining the bolt, the only marking is "MPI." Nothing to indicate that it is a 6.5 Grendel bolt. Comes with a box, but nothing to indicate that it has a Type II bolt. Could cause confusion if you have AR bolts of other types -e.g. 7.62 x 39 or Grendel Type 1. Would recommend the Aero laser engraves the bolt "G Type II" to avoid confusion.
