The Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded Stripped AR-15 upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 Aluminum, precision machined to work with all mil-spec AR15 components and lower receivers. It is designed to pair perfectly with the enhanced body profile of the M4E1 Lower Receiver, giving you a billet-looking receiver set at a fraction of the billet price.. This upper has been treated with a durable black hardcoat anodized finish.

Great looking upper

Got these on sale. Nice looks, fit and finish. Used them twice on different builds. Feed ramps and barrels all aligned perfectly. Didn’t have to adjust anything. The screw for the forward assist makes installation a breeze. Black finish is a bit darker when compared to some lowers.
Easy to Work With.

Bought this for a blemished M4E1 lower. Finish and machining is quite nice. The threaded pin for the forward assist install makes that process very quick. Fit between upper and lower were acceptable (same with other brand lowers). A slight bit of wobble, tighter than my Colt M4 but a little looser than my SOLGW (they supposedly machine for a very snug fit). Barrel fitment is snug. Not thermal fit-tight like a BCM upper but snug enough that you can insert the barrel, hold it pointing down and the barrel not fall out. I tried this with both a Daniel Defense 14.5" and a SOLGW 13.7" and two separate M4E1 uppers. For reference, I used a Colt upper for another build and the barrel fitment was looser but not out of spec. Overall, very satisfied with these uppers and would recommend.

These are very nice forged uppers with a billet look. The barrel receiver is a hair tighter so your barrel extension fits in very snug with no wiggle like regular milspec uppers. Tried multiple barrels and they all fit snug . The FA assist allen head bolt instead of pin is a very nice touch and made installation take all of maybe 15 seconds. Finish is nice and even.matches well with most my lowers. A tad darker than some , but thats to be expected with any combination of uppers and lowers. It fits snug to all my lowers, no wobble or slop. I would definitely reccomend. I've used a lot of different branded forged uppers and these are probably at the top.
