The Aero Precision M5E1 Barreled AR-10 Upper Receiver combines an M5E1 enhanced receiver, forged from 7075-T6 aluminum with M4 feed ramps, .2795 takedown pin holes, and laser-engraved T-marks, with the handguard mounting platform forged into the upper with a 24-inch 6.5 Creedmoor stainless steel rifle-length barrel and a 15-inch Enhanced Gen 2 handguard, ready for a bolt carrier group and charging handle.

The Enhanced Gen 2 handguard is a one-piece free-float design with built-in anti-rotation tabs, scalloped rails, a continuous top rail, and quick-disconnect sling sockets. The rifle-length gas system gives a gentler recoil impulse and smoother cycling.

The barrel is machined for 6.5 Creedmoor builds on standard AR-308 parts. This assembled upper saves you the work of fitting a barrel, gas system, and handguard, so you only need to add a bolt carrier group, a charging handle, and a muzzle device if one is not included.
