Aero Precision Ultralight 1" Scope Mount - Extended

This is an excellent scope mount; very high quality and shipped quickly. However I returned it as I didn’t realize it had see through mounts which raised the rings higher than I needed. It would be nice if this was mentioned in the description. Primary Arms did accept return and refunded me. I’ve always been happy ordering through Primary Arms and will continue to do so.

Overall good, but not for situations where you might drop the rifle in hunting situations . I broke the hinge at the top when the rifle fell out of the treestand.
The other issue is when tightening the mount around the scope, as the screw snugs down, tends to cause the scope to roll a bit and reticle is not level. It’s tedious to get this right.
Now IMO it’s plenty strong for most uses and I have had two other mounts that have had no issues at all, some we’re dropped from my hands, just not a treestand.

If you don't need quick detachment, this is the way to go. It is very light weight and sturdy. This is the only scope mount I will use on an AR, unless I need quick disconnect.

This Aero mount is sculpted for leanness. It is not bulky and it weighs very little. Anyone wanting to keep the weight off their AR needs to get this mount. Aero even includes a nice little Torx driver that will slip right into an AR's pistol grip storage or buttstock storage.

I like this mount very much. It is super light weight and rock solid for an AR-15 mount. The anodized finish is perfect and machine work is excellent. You have to sort of time the scope to the rings so that they roll perfectly perpendicular to the bore when you finish tightening the screws down but that wasn't to hard.

A very sturdy, light weight mount with a good finish.And as always, Primary Arms has some of the fastest shipping in the market!

Very light, strong, compact and simple design. Fits the rail very well with almost no slack. This is my second one and won't be my last.

This mount is the lightest I have ever seen for an AR. Solid, just the right height, easy to install. Great design. Was promptly shipped by Primary Arms when no one else had any in stock. Now they're out too. When you see one of these you'd better grab it!

This is hand down the best scope mount for the money. It is extremely lightweight and solid as possible the mounting system takes a little tinkering to make sure the scope doesn't rotate while clamping it down. But it is extremely strong and once locktited down it is never going to shift on you. The only flaw I have noticed is it it sits slightly high so the cheekweld is not perfect. Even with this slight flaw I love this scope mount
