Aero Precision Ultralight 30mm Scope Mount - Extended

This is my second Aero scope mount. The machine work details and finish are very well done.
Exact fit to rail.

Awesome mount!!! Very light weight and well built I see why so many are using this setup. It’s bei g used for a PA slx 1-6x24 and it works perfectly! I particularly like the three mounting torx screws for lock up on the rail. Get it if you’re thinking about it it’s worth it!

We'll machined and light weight at a very reasonable price. I used this to mount a Viper Gen 2 LPVO to my rifle. The Viper is kinda hefty so I wanted to save a bit of weight. This worked out perfectly.

I love these scope mounts! Amazing quality, very little weight, and mounts securely. I have 4 of these mounts, mounted on my ruger 10/22 Archangel stock, Colt AR15, Aero Precision 224 Valkyrie, and my 30-06 MDT chassis. I’ll always use these mounts on my next builds.

Lightweight and well built, holds the scope securely. Can be a little tricky to get the scope straight while tightening the ring halves.

I must say it works according to mfg expectations any does holds off pretty good on my scope never get loose on my AR

Rock solid and low weight. I really liked the included torque wrench. Installed and removed several times before finally leaving it alone. 500 rounds in and no movement so far, will update if anything changes. Really happy so far.

Looks good, was on sale, more affordable than the Gucci brands, lightweight. Only wish it came in gray, fde, or coyote brown during sale

The Aero design, with a top interlocking ring tightened by screws at the base, applies efficient geometric force around the scope tube (with greater scope tube contact).
Unfortunately there is one disadvantage to these Aero rings. Increased contact area & grip cause the scope tube to turn with the mounting rings as they're tightened.
Since the scope can't be aligned with the receiver and remain aligned after tightening, scope alignment must be compensated before tightening the rings.
Which can be a pain, since any pressure by the ring screws will lock the scope with the ring. By the third try, my bubble levels were VERY close, and felt I may not do any better. Sighting-in proved it plenty good enough.
Love this scope mount! My 34 oz Trijicon tactical scope could not be more secure. And I saved meaningful weight! I'll likely replace other mounts with these Aero Ultralight mounts, especially since I'm better prepared for scope alignment.

Purchased for an AUG. No mounting hardware to drag my fingers on, nice! My youngest installed it for me with no issues. Will buy again.
