Insert brass laser module into chamber and align scope reticle to match laser beam at 20 yards. Remove laser and proceed to the range for final adjustments at whatever distance you want your zero. The AimShot laser bore sight system is designed around a single high quality laser, 223 for the rifle calibers, and a system of hollow arbors that are designed to fit over the 223 laser and fit in the chamber for other calibers. If you want to bore sight a 308, you would need the 223 laser and then the appropriate arbor (AR243 in this case will fit all 308 based calibers such as 243, 7mm-08, 338 Federal, etc). Being able to bore sight additional calibers by purchasing an arbor is much more cost effective.

You can convert the BS223 into the MBS223 by purchasing the MBP223 (Modular Battery Pack) that will allow you to utilize 2 AAA batteries in the external battery pack for 20+ hours of laser output.
