The rail design features a low bore axis and a 2-in-1 design that allows you to securely mount optics with a picatinny base or an ACOG style base giving you the versatility you want. The rail length is perfect for red dots or holographic sights and positions them at the perfect place above the dust cover. When using AK pistols like the Yugo PAP92/85 and Romanian Draco, the AK Master Mount will position the optic behind the rear sight in the middle of the dust cover.

Not for arsenal sam7k pistols

This product is well built but unfortunately it does not fit the Arsenal sam7k pistol because the rear sight gets on the way.

This works well on standard AK rails like Romanian, polish, etc. Make sure you know what you have. The yugos are a different style. Zero repeats after removing and reinstalling.

Red dot capability achieved

Smooth mounting, and removal. A little grinding needed to clear a rivet in the receiver, four minutes total for the Vska.

I installed this mount on a RPD receiver AK. I mounted an optic that came off an AR. The initial shot was off to the left slightly but vertically on point. This was due to variance in the AK receiver, not the mount. VERY solid and easy to tension. The AK as a rule have various rail dimensions. This mount has way more adjustment capacity than required.
Exactly what I was wanting

This mount is exactly what I was looking for to work with my new PA Slx 3 sight. The direct ACOG mounting feature brought the Slx 3 to only a few millimeters above the AK's dust cover. Note that there is no left to right adjustment. But, there it is..... For the price, it's still a GOOD DEAL.
