Details

The AK Master Mount Side Rail offers an innovative solution to mount optics on your AK. It boasts a low profile, rock solid steel fabrication for a rugged addition to your rifle that will provide a service life as long as the AK itself. The side rail mount will accommodate standard AK styled clamping optic mounts and offers a central scalloped recessed area so that SVD styled locking optic mounts (such as the PK-01VS) can be used. Please note that this is a standard AK pattern side rail and is not compatible with SVD optic mounts that require the central groove channel for the stop pin. The AK Master Mount side rail is the only commercially available product that delivers a reliable side rail attachment point without permanent modification to the AK’s receiver. It quickly and easily attaches to the milled or stamped AK receiver’s hammer and trigger axis pin holes with AK Master’s proprietary mounting pins. This means no need to drill, tap, rivet, or use a gunsmith.

Master Mount rail

I got this for my full-size Draco. It didn't fit perfectly out of the box but I knew that going in. The AK Master Mount website has information on getting it to fit with some receivers. In my case when tightened down, the receiver rails would squeeze together and the bolt carrier would not move at all. As per their website, I had to file down one of the pins and add a "3.2mm ID 6.2 OD spring lock washer" inside the receiver to provide even spacing and surface area for the pins to be tightened and not "squeeze" the receiver. After adjustment and Blue Loctite, this sucker is rock solid with no warp!! My RS Regulate M302 fits on snug and it holds nice and tight. This rail is an awesome way to add a side rail to the Draco!

Awesome scope mount!

This scope mount took me all of maybe 10-15 minutes to install. No worries about having to rezero scopes every time you have to break the weapon down for cleaning.

AK MASTER MOUNT SIDE RAIL KIT

Purchased this side rail kit for my Arsenal SLR95. Installation was simple and fitment is rock solid. I mounted a Midwest Industries scope rail mount to it with a Primary Arms ACSS Raptor 7.62x39/300BLK Reticle Scope. I'm very happy with this set up and the excellent service from Primary Arms.
