Great mag no issues with it I was skeptical at first but for the price I didn't see why not give them a shot. I'll be buying more now.

I live in Phoenix, AZ so temperatures in summer easily can reach above 110 in any given day. The Amend2 become defective when loaded and left in temperatures above 100 degrees. It doesn’t matter if the laded magazine is in a garage, in a range bag, inside your truck/car. The lips of the loaded magazine deform and it is almost impossible to fit the magazine into the mag well of an AR-15. If you happen to live in a more tempered climate, no problem, but for people in the US Southwest Amend2 mags are a liability that can cost your life.

I am a huge Magpul and Lancer mags fan for the AR15. After watching a YouTube video about AR magazine testing I discovered the Amend2 brand. I then watched every Amend2 video I could find. After all the torture tests I decided to buy 12 of them. But even then it wasn't enough. So I grabbed a Magpul and Amend2 Mod 2 and stripped them down. What I found is that the Amend2 internals appear to be better than Magpul's; the spring felt stronger when compressed, plastics are thicker/more sturdy & feels more durable overall. The follower is also slightly longer than Magpul's which should add a little more stability as well.
I will suggest the same 2 things that convinced me to you; watch YouTube videos that test the limits of these mags and take one apart along with a Magpul Gen2/3 and compare the internals for yourself.
I am very impressed with just how solid the Amend2 mags are and at half the price of Magpul when on sale! Plus "Made in the USA", there is nothing wrong with that! :)
