The American Defense quick detach 30mm cantilever ring mount is an excellent mounting solution for common 30mm red dots such as the Aimpoint PRO or Primary Arms Advanced 30mm Red Dot. Like all American Defense mounts it is precision machined from durable 6061-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish for long service life.
This mount is designed to place the center of the optic just 1.10" off the rail surface, making it ideal for raised rail or low stock comb applications.
Featuring ADM's QD Auto Lock Lever system, the AD-68 can be fully adjusted without tools to accommodate most Picatinny rail systems. This glove friendly locking system ensures the mount will not move until you need to remove it, and provides exceptional return to zero with mounted optics. It is also fully covered by American Defense's lifetime warranty.

Nice piece of kit...

This model of mount absolute co-witnesses well with Sig 556 factory sights. It is easy to adjust and seems to lock down securely once the right adjustment has been achieved - and is just as easily removed. I have not tested return to zero or long term zero but have high hopes it is in the same class as Larue.
