Machined from a solid billet, this lower is 40% stronger than a traditional mil-spec receiver while adding only half an ounce of weight, and the Type III Teflon-infused hardcoat anodized finish protects against wear and corrosion for long-term use. The UIC lower ships with a truly ambidextrous bolt catch and magazine release pre-installed from the factory, and the 20-degree flared magwell speeds up magazine changes under pressure. Dimpled takedown pins make disassembly easier, and a tension screw installed near the grip screw eliminates wobble between receivers. Note that this lower isn't compatible with triggers that require external anti-rotation plates or screws, though ADM offers a trigger pin kit for CMC triggers and the lower is fully compatible with standard GI, Geissele, and other drop-in triggers using standard pins.
American Defense Manufacturing was founded on the idea of building dependable AR-15 components without cutting corners. All ADM products are designed and built with U.S.-sourced material in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

One if the best lowers you can buy
by SMPTactical
This lower is one of the best you can buy that is fully ambidextrous and attainable. The controls feel natural. The fit and finish is excellent. So far this has become a favorite.
Minus 1 star for some quirks. There are just some things you don't see until you get it in your hands. After market trigger pins with bars will not work, the Ambi controls over the hammer pin. I believe this is in the disclaimer for trigger compatibility and just something to be aware of. The second, there is a raised anti-tilt casting on the buffer threads that prevent anti-tilt buffer tubes from proper installation like the POF anti-tilt buffer tube or 2A Armament or any buffer tube that has anti-tilt lips. The anti-tilt dimples on the receiver interfere with the anti-tilt lips on those buffer tubes.
I bought a Radian AX556 and an ADM UIC/MP4. Kept the ADM
by Trainmore
The Radian is beautiful, and really nice to handle. No doubt, the machining is just a notch above ADM. But you know what?
The ADM works with Maxim's SCW pistol braces, while the A-DAC button prevents the support bars on the brace from fully retracting.
Also, having had some time to use the Radian, ADM and a POF (all of which have the bolt catch/release feature), the ADM is easily the most intuitive (up to catch, down to release) and natural (a sweeping motion up/down with my trigger finger) than press/hold and press like the AX556 or the quasi-uncomfortable button POF inserted into the trigger guard.
I like the simplicity, intuitiveness, and restraint of the ADM. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
The Best Ambi AR Lower on the Planet
by bkkhsmith@cox.net
This is the finest AR15 lower on the market today, bar none. I run this lower on all my AR builds. The ambidextrous setup is better than the LWRC ambi lower, even. Manufacture, fit and finish are flawless. The magwell has a nice flare that doesn't present itself on the outside profile. The left-side bolt catch is large and ergonomic. The ambi left side mag release is perfectly placed. Most significant, the right side lever serves to both release and catch the bolt carrier. Intuitive operation, for both right and left-hand operation. Right handers can lock the BCG to the rear without removing their firing hand from the pistol grip! If you are looking for a superior ambidextrous AR lower, look no further. The ADM UIC is by far the best.
