Anderson Manufacturing AR-15 Upper Parts Kit

this kit worked perfectly with Anderson Stripped upper. I received PA bundle price with Anderson Stripped upper, no complaints

I usually don't review and I dont mean to bash on anderson but i was very disappointed with this kit. It might have just been a one time thing but the spring for the port door was undersized and when wound correctly the rod was impossible to slip through and get in place as the spring would shrink in diameter and become too tight this also caused a small scratch on my stripped upper as the spring kept slipping out every time the rod would be halfway in place. Ive assembled uppers before and was wondering why it was so difficult so i gave in and ordered another port door assembly from a different company and the spring was much larger in diameter and fit like a glove first try. After hours of frustration it was bad quality control on what should be basic milspec parts.

As new builder, I am doing a bare bones kit. This package was sent in a timely manner, with tracking. This is a basic mil spec kit for my AR. When i choose to upgrade, I will purchase from this company with no issues. They have great customer service. Again, it is the basic kit, and they did it right.

Good parts, all installed well.
However, removed 1 star because the dust cover was marred/scratched out of the box. Probably a return, but the marring is quite noticeable. Not gonna return it because it's just cosmetic, but be aware.

You can't go wring with Anderson Mfg. products. Always top quality and they perform as they should.

Was missing the hing pin retainer clip. Not a expensive item but really aggravating.

Nice finish! NOT! Forward assist badly scratch. Keep your money and buy another brand.

This kit was awesome. I will buy again. Went in my Yankee Hill upper with no problems. Yankee hill upper is a beefier unit.

Kit was missing the c clip. I know it's a 50¢ item but is really annoying Anderson apparently doesn't bother to make sure all the advertised parts make it into the box.

This is a great upper parts kit for the money. As always Primary Arms has great customer service and really fast shipping.
