Anderson Manufacturing Utility Pro 5.56 AR-15 Rifle - 16"

I bought two of these and one of them is so bad I have to immediately send it back without even shooting it. I took the chamber flag out and put the bolt forward and it got stuck so I had to take the takedown pins out with a little bit of effort got the upper and lower separated, and still very hard to get the bolt out. This isn’t my first AR…..but first time almost having to mortar a new gun. I was able to get the charging handle and bolt out….charging handle is shaped like a banana. I tried installing a brand new Anderson charging handle and it would not go in all the way, so obviously something is out of spec or damaged already on a brand new gun. While I was doing this, I was actually on the phone with Anderson’s customer service, and doing all of this based on their recommendations.

Still very happy with primary arms and I leave them a five star for all of their things that they do.

I’m about 50ish rounds in and I can tell you that it shoots great, it’s got a butter smooth feel with very little felt recoil. In terms of build quality the bolt takes some getting used to it’s a bit stiff at first but after a bit lube and breaking in it gets better. The quality on the finish is nice it feels like a more premium rifle, it’s got a smooth matte finish all around. The magazine that came with it feels very cheap, I ended up swapping it for a pmag. Overall, great purchase I would definitely recommend getting yourself one.

Handguard has very large cutout sections, while holding it gas block would be touching your hand. No full pic rail on top, need some additional hardware for mounting accessories.
The rifle is not light by any means, why bother with a lightweight hardguard..

The item was originally listed with Magpul moe pistol grip, but ended up with A2 grip.

Great shooter, feels great in my hands, only down side trigger is a littler heavier than I like but awesome ar.

It is a good basic rifle. Very light weight and well made.

The handguard has cut outs so large that my hand is touching the gas block and gas tupe is mostly unprotected. The top section without pic rail is fake M-Lok, looks like m-lok but not wide enough to turn m-lok nut sideways. This is by far the worst handguard I have ever seen.

Also it came with A2 grip instead of Magpul moe pistol grip (listing was updated to A2 grip after my purchase).

Added vortex strike fire II red/green dot, no recoil feels smooth, about 200 rounds ran no problems. Will buy another one.

Didn’t know if it was gonna be good because it didn’t have any reviews of it and there’s barely any videos online but it was a steal for Black Friday so I pulled the trigger on it. After taking it to the range and putting about 500 rounds through it, I’d buy this thing at full price. I think it’s the perfect 1st at-15 for anybody new to guns. Came with everything you need to start shooting and I haven’t had any problems with it yet. Finish feels and looks good, minimal recoil & everything is put together tightly.
