The dry film lube on the upper receiver's interior cuts friction against the bolt carrier for smoother cycling, and the full-auto-rated, MPI/HPT-tested M16 bolt carrier group adds a margin of durability beyond a semi-auto-only BCG. The T-marked rail lets you return an optic to the same position every time you remove it.

Because this 8" barrel measures under 16", this complete upper is intended only for an AR pistol or a legally registered short-barreled rifle — attaching it to a standard rifle lower without the correct configuration violates federal law.
