Apex Tactical Shield Action Enhancement Trigger and Duty/Carry Kit

The Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger for Smith and Wesson M&P Shield is an easy drop in upgrade to make that greatly improves the feel of the trigger over the factory trigger. A main complaint of the factory trigger is the safety mechanism that requires you to only put your finger on the bottom half which can result in unreliable activation and an uncomfortable finger position for some shooters. This Apex Aluminum M&P trigger fixes that problem by using a center mounted pivoting safety lever that is common on most other striker fired pistols and features a smooth face that is much more comfortable to use. It also helps to reduce the pre-and over-travel by approximately 20% for a more responsive feel. This trigger is only compatible with original model M&P Shield handguns and comes with the Duty/Carry internals.

The Included Apex Duty/Carry trigger kit is designed to give you a smoother and more consistent trigger pull that is approximately 2 lbs. lighter—great for every day carry. Additionally, this kit helps to reduce the trigger reset allowing for a more premium feel. All the components work together to bring you a reliable and consistent trigger optimal for every day carry.

Installation of the Ultimate Striker Block requires the removal of the rear sight and can be very difficult. It is recommended to have a gunsmith complete this task to prevent damage to your sight or slide.
