The Archon Firearms Type-B is a striker-fired semi-automatic 9mm pistol built on a steel frame and slide with the proprietary AF-Speedlock locking system, RMR optic cut, 1/2x28 threaded 5" barrel, and a 1913-style Picatinny rail for light or laser attachment.

The AF-Speedlock system eliminates barrel tilt during the slide cycle, allowing the barrel to travel straight back — improving sight alignment for follow-up shots compared to traditional Browning-type tilting barrel designs. At 0.47" bore axis, recoil is lower and muzzle flip is minimized. The short-reset trigger, redesigned magazine release, and extended beveled magazine well combine to make this a platform built for both speed and control in competition and defensive use.
