Arisaka Defense Momentary Tailcap

The Arisaka Defense Momentary Tailcap is a replacement part for the Arisaka 300 and 600 series light bodies as well as Surefire Scout lights. This tailcap switch is designed to make your light momentary only in order to simplify the controls and prevent accidentally turning you light on into constant light mode. However, constant mode can be utilized by threading the tailcap all the way on. By backing the tailcap off by .5 a turn to 1.5 a turn, you can adjust the level of pressure required to activate the momentary function and the light will only work as long as the button is pressed. Back it off the threads a little bit more to make sure it doesn’t accidentally get turned on while in your range bag and deplete battery life.
