The ArmaLite AR-10 Competition is a semi-automatic .308 Winchester rifle purpose-built for 3-gun and practical rifle competition. It features a 13.5-inch stainless steel barrel with an ArmaLite tunable brake pinned and welded to bring the external barrel length to 16 inches for a non-NFA configuration. It ships with one 25-round magazine.

The Timney 4-pound single-stage trigger provides a competition-grade pull. The Luth-AR MBA-1 stock is adjustable for both cheekpiece height and length of pull. The Ergo wide grip provides an ergonomic firing interface. The Raptor ambidextrous charging handle and ambidextrous safety provide ease of operation for left and right-handed shooters.

The barrel uses a 1:10 twist rate with a heavy match-grade profile and black phosphate finish. The 7075-T6 aluminum receivers wear a black hard coat anodized finish. The rifle is optics-ready with no factory sights — the shooter adds their preferred optic. Overall length is 36.30 to 37.30 inches and weight is 8.20 pounds.

The AR-10 Competition accepts AR-10 pattern magazines in .308 Winchester. One 25-round magazine is included.
