Consistent with the ASP reputation of perfecting the expandable baton design, the Talon Infinity Batons were developed to be consistent, operator-friendly, and reliable. The Infinity family of batons has been adjusted for precision, strength, and durability. The ASP Talon Airweight baton is a newly designed baton which combines high-performance functionality and light weight suited for frequent carry. The Airweight Talon is made of 7075 Grade Aluminum and 4140 steel, opening with the flick of a wrist and closing by bringing the tip down on a hard surface to break the built-in friction lock. The baton can be expanded discreetly by pulling the extended tip until the locking mechanism is triggered, or it can be snapped at the wrist when being used with less discretion. To close the Talon, press the button in the endocarp and press the tip against any hard surface. Protected by Cerakote finish, the industrial-grade ceramic coating resists corrosion and abrasion. Developed for military and law enforcement, this baton holds up to the most demanding tactical environments.
