If you're looking for a flashlight that will stand up to the rigors of constant use and abuse, look no further. The Triad DF is simply a beast, a workhorse of a duty light that disperses darkness with a flick of a switch. Machined from 6061 T6 grade aluminum and anodized with a proprietary type III hardcoat black matte finish, this duty light can take on harsh conditions and excessive punishment and still keep throwing the lumens out.
Features:
Using only premium components, ASP innovators included Cree XPG LED, gold-plated connectors, and polished aluminum reflector and optical glass lens.
Keeping with their commitment to producing the best quality products for law enforcement, ASP designers chose to simplify activation of this duty light with a single pressure switch. In addition, a twist selector allows the user a choice of intermittent light, constant-on and locked.
With Dual Fuel Technology, the Triad DF runs with either a rechargeable 18650 battery, which is included by the way, or a pair of CR123A single use cells which are sold separately. Simply put, you'll never be without a power source. But it gets even better. The 18650 batter charges inside the Triad DF using the supplied cord and adapters, but can also be charged using any micro USB phone or electronics charging cord. This means, there will never be a need for a separate battery charger.
Note: ASP flashlights feature adjustable/removable pocket clips which vary by model
Note: For lights with a screw connecting the clip to the ring around the flashlight use a 1/16 hex key (most ASP baton scabbards and Tactical Light Cases include a hex key stowed behind the belt clip) to back out the screw, and then remove the clip and ring.
