The Ballistic Advantage complete 5.56 AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group is ideal for users seeking to build, maintain, or improve the performance of their AR-15 rifle or pistol. The M16 style carrier is constructed from 8620 steel, and the 5.56 bolt is machined from Carpenter 158 steel with a phosphate finish. The Ballistic Advantage forged gas key is properly staked, and this Bolt Carrier Group features a Tool Steel extractor, grade 8 hardware, shot peened bolt, and a phosphate coating throughout. Each bolt carrier group is high pressure tested, magnetic particle inspected, and test fired to ensure functionality.

Nice BCG

Bought this BCG for an AP/BA build. This is one nice BCG. The phosphate on this is very smooth which threw me off. I’m use to phosphate BCGs have a texture.
Once cleaned and lubed with Breakfree CLP it charges smoothly in my AP upper. Have not fired with yet but will once I do, I will update my review.
