Mid-length can also help to minimize dwell and will ensure that the rifle cycles properly during use. With a reasonable and light weight of 2.31 pounds, this can help maximize any AR build if this suits the end result that is sought after. The bead blasted finish goes on to help resist the corrosion that could contribute to long-term concerns, and provides a great finish for a multitude of ambient environmental conditions.
A spectacular multi-purpose use barrel, with a great mix of harmony between muzzle attachments, bullet grain weights and overall, good heat management makes this a bargain at the price point. Thanks to that price point, excellent value for money and the interesting product mix from Ballistic Advantage, this barrel is also a favorite in AR-15 builds. The accuracy and quality are great for the asking price, and the long-term life cycle makes this a great choice for the heavier volume shooter.

Decent
by The other guy -
It's as advertised. The accuracy with 62gr green tip IMI is about 1.2-1.5 moa, which is par for that ammo. I didn't have any issues with barrel harmonics. The gas port is about 0.078 to 0.079 inches. There aren't any set screw dimples, but just line up the gas tube with the barrel pin and push the gas block as far at it will go. The chrome lining looks a bit thicker than what I've seen with other barrels, which is fine by me.
Great barrel for $156!

I paid $205 in May of 22' and today (6/6/23) it's $156! This barrel does good with hand loads and I typically get 1moa with a 5 shot group, sometimes a little better and sometimes not. But for a heavy HBAR 16" this is a good barrel. I like heavier as they don't heat up as fast, though they will take longer to cool. If you're looking to build a good 16" AR I would look at this barrel. But their 18" I wouldn't get. I couldn't get it to group inside of an inch with 5 shots to save my life.
