Ballistic Advantage has created this 16-inch barrel for its modern series of rifle kits and parts.  This Modern Series is made from 4150 chrome moly vanadium alloy steel and gives it an overall build that is strong and durable.  The steel barrel is then given a bead blasted finish, which is corrosion resistant and good looking. The barrel also has a chromed bore that not only looks great and offers some enhanced durability and ease in maintenance but helps to retain the integrity of the precision bore that has been rifled at a 1:7 twist rate.  The mid-length gas system on this barrel is a choice that can give the user a softer recoil feel and the HBAR profile provides a great platform for rapid fire.
