This 20" Heavy contour barrel matches DPMS pattern bolts and features a gently tapered profile that helps improve the balance of the completed rifle. Chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor, Magnetic Particle Inspected, and proof fired, this barrel is what you want if you are looking to maximize the accuracy of your large frame AR. Using the same standard .308 components with this new barrel allows you to take advantage of the inherent accuracy of the 6.5 mm bullet with 33% less felt recoil, improved ballistics, and better energy retention past 300 yards.

Accurate Barrel with Multiple Loads

Very impressed with the accuracy with this barrel. I have about 100 rounds down range with this. I'm very particular with how my rifles need to perform and this barrel is fantastic. Out of the box I was expecting a break in period before the groupings improved. I guess that holds somewhat true. I was shooting sub moa with various companies loads. My best 5 shot grouping was sub 1/2" with the projectiles being stacked one each other. To this date it's the best grouping I have gotten out of and rifle, bolt action or gas. Impressed. Will say the barrel prefers 140 gr out of my 6.5 Creedmoor AR10. Heavier groups performed but I saw what would be a flier, but still well within MOA or 1.1" All in all great barrel for the money.

Shoots sub MOA with Sellier Belloit, which is the cheapest stuff I own. Performed well cold & hot! Easily worth the money since it was less than $200 out the door.
