The Barrett MRAD Covert is a .308 Winchester bolt-action repeater with a 17-inch barrel, user-changeable barrel system, folding stock, tool-free trigger removal, and 7000-series aluminum receivers with integral rail, in Tungsten Cerakote.

The user-changeable barrel system lets the shooter swap barrel configurations quickly with one tool, and the MRAD is compatible with all MRAD barrel conversion kits for additional caliber options. The bolt rides in an enclosed polymer guide for smooth, reliable cycling even in harsh environments where conventional designs can bind. The trigger group removes from the lower receiver with no tools, aiding modularity and field serviceability. The folding stock uses a robust hinge and latch that unlocks with a single button press, folding right to protect the bolt handle and keep overall width slim. Length of pull adjusts by pressing a single button on top of the stock. The cheek piece adjusts for comb height without tools and is reversible for two side profiles. The ambidextrous safety installs on either side per user preference with a short 45-degree throw.
