The Barrett MRAD Covert is a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt-action repeater with a 17-inch 5/8x24-threaded barrel, user-changeable barrel system, folding stock, tool-free trigger removal, and 7000-series aluminum receivers with integral rail, in Tungsten Cerakote.

The 5/8x24 thread pattern on the 17-inch barrel accommodates suppressors for reduced signature operation. The user-changeable barrel system swaps configurations with a single tool and is compatible with all MRAD barrel conversion kits. The bolt rides in an enclosed polymer guide for reliable cycling in harsh environments. The trigger group removes tool-free from the lower receiver. The stock folds right with a single button press, protecting the bolt handle and keeping overall width slim. Length of pull adjusts via a button on top of the stock, and the reversible cheek piece adjusts comb height without tools. The ambidextrous safety installs on either side per user preference.
