The Battle Arms Development WORKHORSE stripped lower receiver provides a forged foundation built to Mil-Spec standards with several features that address common installation frustrations. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Mil-Spec Type III hard anodized flat black finish, it delivers a durable platform with a broached magazine well and multi-caliber markings.

The easy-install set screw bolt catch pin replaces the traditional punch-and-roll-pin installation with a simpler method that reduces the risk of damage to the receiver during assembly. A captured takedown pin detent spring with a 4-40 set screw keeps the spring in place so it can't escape during disassembly, and an upper/lower receiver tension screw allows the fit between upper and lower to be tightened for a more consistent lockup. As a serialized firearm component, this receiver requires an FFL transfer to complete the purchase.
