The BCM MCMR is a 9-inch free float M-LOK AR-15 handguard built from 6061-T6 aluminum with BCM's proprietary patented barrel nut system for compact builds requiring a short, stable free float solution.

The 9-inch profile (9.4-inch total length) keeps the handguard well within the barrel on compact builds, maintaining a slim and balanced overall package that handles well in confined spaces. BCM's patented mounting system mechanically indexes to the 12 o'clock rail position, ensuring the handguard returns to exact alignment after removal — a feature that matters when your accessories are zeroed to the rail surface. The heat-stable mounting hardware placement prevents the movement from heat cycling that causes standard handguards to shift over time. Weighing 8.2 ounces with the steel barrel nut, it adds minimal weight to a compact build.
