The Bravo Company MK2 11.5" Short Barrel Rifle is built off the new MK2 upper receiver. This redesigned AR-15 upper receiver has been built off the lessons learned from more than 20 years of active combat with the AR platform and provides significant improvements in rigidity and strength over standard MIL-SPEC receivers while only adding 0.3 ounces of extra weight. Throw in cold hammer forged barrel and top it with an MCMR handguard and BCM's ergonomic furniture and the MK2 Carbine is an impressive step forward for the AR platform.
