The BCM RECCE-16 MCMR is a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle chambered in .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO with a 16-inch government-profile barrel, a 1:7 twist rate, and a mid-length gas system. It ships with one 30-round magazine. Overall length is 32.5 to 35.5 inches and weight is 9.325 pounds.
The 15-inch MCMR M-LOK free-float handguard provides extensive accessory mounting. The BCM PNT trigger provides a mil-spec pull. The Mod 3 pistol grip and BCM stock complete the ergonomics. The barrel is independently certified mil-spec 11595E steel with a chrome-lined bore and chamber and HPT/MPI testing throughout.
The BCG is mil-spec auto-profile, machined from Carpenter No. 158 steel, chrome-lined, shot-peened, and HPT/MPI tested. The gas key is hardened and staked with Grade-8 fasteners. Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized per MIL-A-8625F. A USGI H buffer is standard.
The RECCE-16 MCMR accepts standard STANAG magazines in 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. One 30-round magazine is included.
The RECCE-16 MCMR is BCM's standard-length duty rifle with a 15-inch M-LOK handguard for a full-length rail interface on the 16-inch barrel.

Just got to shoot this sexy beast on July 4th & it works great! I paired it up with the Vortex Spitfire, and once I zero in my sites, this gun shot targets at 50 & 100 yards flawlessly. So far, 200 rounds through it & no problems. I also accessorize it with the Fortis vertical grip & BCM rail covers and my gun looks so sexy. Just picked up my baby today & it is sexy! I wish BCM would pack the rifle in a hard case instead of a cardboard box, but that's a minor problem. Everything about the rifle is premium, and all the parts run very smooth & solid. As a 5'4 female, I was a bit worried about the weight & length of the gun because I held a 6.7 lbs 14.5 DD rifle & that was heavy for me. But this was not the case with this Recce-16. I don't notice the 1 inch difference on the barrel & the weight is really manageable (6.1 lbs).
With all that is going on, I am so glad I came across Primary Arms. If I had any questions or concerns about my order, I was able to chat with someone on their Facebook. They were really friendly & helpful. When I needed opinions on comparing between ARs & accessories, they were very informative to help me decide on what to get.
