The Beretta 92X Performance Defensive 9mm Pistol satisfies the need for speed and accuracy for competition use. The 92X Performance Defensive offers the same ergonomic design and controls as other 92 platforms but enhances them with a lightened steel frame, an optic-ready slide, and thin textured grips for better control. Designed to meet IDPA regulations, the frame's weight is decreased by removing the traditional Picatinny rail with an additional weight reduction of the Brigadier slide. The factory-cut slide is optic-ready to accept red dots with the use of aftermarket plate options. 92X-style thin textured grips combined with checkering on the front and backstrap help improve control and provide a comfortable fit in the shooter's hand. Other features include saw-tooth front and rear slide serrations for maximum grip during manipulation, a skeletonized hammer, and the Xtreme-S trigger system that's fully adjustable and decreases trigger reset.
